Product Description After 22 days of mating, a female animal will secrete a certain amount of pregnancy hormones and reach a certain detectable level. However, due to individual differences, it may be detectable around 25 days, or due to a longer ovulation cycle, delayed mating time, etc., it may only be detected after 30 days.
Instructions for Whole Blood Test Card
- Extract 1-2ml of venous blood from the tested dog or cat.
- Use a dropper to add 3 drops of whole blood to the test card.
- Use a dropper to add 1 drop of diluent to the test card.
- Wait 15 minutes to interpret the results.
Instructions for Serum Test Card
- Extract 1-2ml of venous blood from the tested dog or cat.
- Centrifuge at 4000 rpm for 15 minutes, then extract the serum.
- Use a dropper to add 2 drops of serum to the test card.
- Wait 15 minutes to interpret the results.
If the first test, conducted within 25 ± 2 days, shows only one line in the detection area (i.e., only the C zone shows a line), it is not possible to determine if there is a pregnancy. A second test should be conducted after one week (i.e., after 30 days). If it shows 1 line, it means not pregnant. If it shows 2 lines, it means pregnant.
Note: Due to individual differences among female animals, the initial hormone release from the uterus after conception may vary slightly. Therefore, some cats and dogs release hormones later, and thus it is necessary to perform two tests to confirm true pregnancy.
